Who’s my favorite famous person? I like to watch movies. I like beautiful girl. So, my favorite person is a movie star, and she is a beautiful girl. Her name’s Rene Liu. She was born in 1970, and her birthday is on June 1st. Before she was a movie star, she was a singer. I like her songs, but my father doesn’t. She is very beautiful. She has long heir and beautiful eyes. I like her a lot.
Last weekend, I watched a movie called “Happy birthday”. The character of Rene Liu is a girl. Her name’s Mi. She and her boyfriend fall in love for ten years, but finally her boyfriend is dead. I like this movie. Because I’m Rene Liu’s fan, and the story makes me remember many sweet things about my ex-girlfriend and I. I want Rene Liu to be my girlfriend, if possible.

An extended family is the best kind of family to grew up in
What is the best kind of family to grow up in? As to children, an extended family is the best kind of family. An extended family has many advantages. An extended family is prosperous. An extended family is like a big group. Everyone in the group can cooperate and help each other. Children in the group can learn how to cooperate. An extended family is not lonely. Children in an extended family can find many friends. They can play games or chess or basketball…. Children can develop good relationships in an extended family. In an extended family, children can communicate with many people. They can express their ideas well. A good ability to communicate is important for everybody. An extended family is thrifty. An extended family can share resources. We don't need to buy unnecessary things for everybody.
An extended family is good for children to grow up in, but it is too complex for me. I like a simple life. I don't want children. Perhaps a simple nuclear family suits me even more.

My father is sixty-seven years old. He is the third of his siblings. He was born in Nanjing in 1939, but he grew up in Taipei. His birthday is the same as the inauguration ceremony of the president of Taiwan. He and I graduated from the same senior high school. He loves tap-dancing, so he teaches it. He once taught tap-dancing in National Taiwan University of Art and Private Culture Chinese University, and he teaches tap-dancing in our own dancing studio.
My father is a vegetarian, so my family is all vegetarian, too. He doesn’t eat any meat or eggs. He likes to eat healthy, organic food, but he is in hospital now. I hope he can recover as soon as possible.

How’s everything? I feel like I haven’t seen you for so long! Do you believe me? My family is traveling on the Moon. So far our family vacation is a little bit boring. We have moon cakes three meals a day. Moon cakes are too sweet. I don’t like sweet food, but my father does. Yesterday, I hung around the lunar crater by myself and I met someone. I’m not sure, but I think it’s love at first sight!
I saw her taking a walk around the lunar crater. She has brown wavy hair, and blue eyes. She’s very tall and beautiful. She looks like a goddess. I went to her and talked to her. Her name’s Artemis. She’s Greek. She told me her father was Zeus, and she has many brothers and sisters. One of her sisters lives on the Earth. Her name’s Athena. She has twelve gold saints to protect her. Introduce Myself
On July 27, 1979, a baby was born in Waishuangshi. Who was the baby? The baby was me. My Chinese name’s Huang, Yu-Hsiang, or you can call me Shane. Shane is my English name. There’re five people in my family. I have two brothers. My father, my mother, and my youngest brother live with me. I live in the center of Taipei city near the Chien-Kuo flower market. My house is on Ren-Ai Road. Ren-Ai Road is a beautiful road in Taipei. It has a lot of shady trees. I like it a lot.
This year, I am 28 years old and I’m still a student. My school is National Taiwan Ocean University. I’m doing research in processor design. It’s a field of Computer Science. My lab is near the sea. When I’m bored, I often watch the sea, and it let me relax. Classical music is often played in my lab, because I like it. Books have a lot of knowledge, so I like reading in my free time. Sometimes I go to movies on the weekend. I like action and science fiction movies. Tom Hanks is one of my favorite movie stars, because I like “The Da Vinci Code”. Vegetables are good for my health, so I like to eat vegetables. I am a vegetarian. I don’t like to eat any meat. I will travel to Germany when I get my master’s degree. My friend from school is studying in Germany now. I miss her. I wish I could become a bird and fly to Germany.

Why do I want to get the PhD?
I had felt down several days, and it's the main reason why I didn't update blog. I am sorry to myself, because I don't keep my promise. I had lost my faith in those days. I couldn't do any thing, because something is full of my mind, It's let me can't think anything. I am sorry I can't write what is the something in my blog. Anyway I had wasted those days, and I don't do anything besides reading. In those days, I often think why do I want to get PhD? What is my goal? What is my want after all? Why do I want to study abroad? Many Many question in my mind. I couldn't find the true answer, so I felt down. Another reason is about relationship question that I don't like to write this topic in my blog.
Return to the theme, why do I want to get the PhD? I think many answers can answer this question. For example, want to get the highest diploma, want to get more glory, want to make more money in the future, want to get more knowledge, want to find the true in the life…. There is mare and more answer for this question. But what is my answer? Anybody want to know? I don’t like to make public my answer. It’s my secret!!!

The true meaning of education
I had finished my English listening class yesterday.
The last class we talk about a topic that is Education.
Normally, we think the education is only schooling.
It's mean our education is end when you get the diploma.
I think it's a terrible thing because we didn't study
when we left school. It's mean we didn't grow up but
we still growing old.
I think the education is never finished when they live.
When we stop learning, we will stop thinking. The end
of the study life is not get the PhD to me. I think I am
certain to study new field that I never study it. It maybe
classical Chinese, philosophy, astronomy or robotics.
I was read too fast before, I think I will review books
that I ever read before slowly. Maybe it’s a dream, but
I will do my best to make it come true.
